QUEEN EN VENEZUELA 1981

La mítica banda británica Queen visitó Venezuela en el año 81 para dar una serie de conciertos en el Poliedro de Caracas el 27 de Septiembre de 1981. Este concierto correspondió a la segunda parte de la gira sudamericana realizada por Queen en el año ’81 y se llamo “Gluttons for Punishement” (la primera parte se llamo South America Bites the Dust), gira que tambien llevo al grupo a tierras mexicanas.

En un principio, Queen tenia contemplado hacer 5 conciertos en Venezuela (al final solo realizo 3), pero el fallecimiento del ex-presidente venezolano Romulo Betancourt ocurrido el 28 de septiembre de aquel año, termino por suspender el concierto de ese dia y el resto de la gira en aquel pais.
